SERVICES
The majority of our work at Marbas is the design of building structures. In addition to this, we provide civil and below ground drainage design, conservation and marine works.
All of our work is undertaken using the latest design software to allow us to tackle the most challenging projects and deliver efficient solutions. We are therefore able to adopt BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes using AutoDesk Revit where required.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
A complete range of structural engineering consultancy services to assist with projects from inception to completion. With a wide variety of expertise in the practice, Marbas can offer design in steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures.
As part of our in-house team, we are able to offer varying levels of services from feasibility through to completion and produce all drawings in 2D CAD format or 3D models where applicable.
CIVIL ENGINEERING
We offer a full range of civil engineering services covering all aspects of drainage including SUDS, and Flood Risk Assessments, external works, highway and infrastructure design. We work closely with a number of clients and are also able to provide this service as part of an independent brief. All works are completed in accordance with Section 278, 104 and 106 agreements.
CONSERVATION ENGINEERING
We are very proud to offer specialised conservation engineering services with over 30 years’ experience of working with historic structures and a Conservation Accredited Registered Engineer (CARE) in our practice supported by a strong team of conservation specialist engineers.
MARINE ENGINEERING
Marbas Marine is a specialist service involved in the design of structures, marinas and quay sides. Working in this environment offers many challenges above and beyond those normally encountered in construction. We have a great depth of knowledge in understanding tidal working, durability of structures and foundation solutions which are out of the ordinary. With longstanding industry relationships, Marbas are known for delivering efficient solutions to complex problems in this aggressive environment.
