Treasury Museum, Winchester College
The Treasury Museum is based at Winchester College within the Warden’s Stables and is a Grade 1 Listed building, dating from the 13th and 15th Centuries.
We were appointed to complete the design work for internal alterations, including steel framed mezzanine floor structures along with supports to existing library floors and foundations. Alterations to the existing building were required, including strengthening of the existing roof structure, repairs and conservation of existing walls to retain original fabric and renders. We also designed the foul and surface water drainage, incorporating existing pipework where appropriate.
