Grange Park Opera, West Horsley

Grange Park Opera moved to a new site for the 2017 summer season, constructing ‘The Theatre in the Woods’ within the grounds of Grade I Listed West Horsley Place.

Our involvement ranged from consulting on the striking masonry façade of the theatre building, designing the cantilevering fanfare balcony, and full structural design of the circular bathroom facility building – the ‘Lavatorium Rotundum’.

This phase was completed under a fast-moving programme in time for the 2018 summer season, with further improvements to the estate under way for future years to come.
