Carluccio's, York

Carluccio’s restaurant chain appointed Marbas to support Design LSM and supply structural design checks on the new restaurant in the centre of York.

The restaurant was converted from the historic York County Saving Bank and the original Terry’s Chocolate Shop, which date back to the 1830’s.

The checks included various remedial works to some of the buildings structure, along with providing ongoing monitoring and advice with regards to the disused tower section at the rear of the restaurant.

The restaurant opened in 2017.
