/ Headley Stud Barns

/ 12 May 2017

The two barns at Headley Stud date from the 18th century and are both Listed Grade II.

The smaller, 3-bay barn was in very poor condition and not used whilst the other 5-bay barn, was still in use and generally in better condition.

Marbas were initially appointed to carry out structural inspections of both barns together with written reports and repair schedules to support planning and Listed Building Applications. Subsequent to the planning application, we carried out detailed design and drawing work to specify the repair details and strengthening to the structure of the barns, to allow them to be converted.
